COWES

Cowes is one of the most famous sailing towns in the world and has been at the centre of British yachting culture for over two centuries. Located at the entrance to the River Medina on the Isle of Wight, it is perfectly positioned for yachts cruising the Solent and remains a vibrant hub for sailors and visitors alike.

The town is divided by the River Medina into West Cowes, the lively sailing centre filled with yacht clubs, marinas, bars and restaurants, and East Cowes, home to the historic Osborne House, once the summer residence of Queen Victoria. Together they offer a unique mix of maritime heritage, social atmosphere and royal history.

The Folly Inn
